You will feel like you’re making a difference every day as you work with your clients to support their health and wellbeing so that they can live independently in their own homes. You will play an important role as part of our WA health and social care system and with that comes the satisfaction of having a positive impact on people’s lives.

Your day-to-day duties may include supporting good nutrition, assisting clients so they can take medication, providing personal care, helping clients to maintain healthy skin and helping them to stay active through social activities like coffee, shopping and walks.

The great relationships you create with clients, families and colleagues are what makes this role really special.

Home Help

If you’re the type of person who likes to make a difference, then this is a perfect role for you. You’ll have the independence to go about your client visits, where you’ll thrive while helping them feel valued and cared for.

You don’t need a qualification to get started in this role, and you will be provided with all the support and training you need as you give and grow in your role. If you choose ... to, you can also access on-the-job qualification pathways so you can move into a Care Aide position in the future.

Your day-to-day duties may include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, making beds, and helping with the laundry, and support with food preparation.

You’ll also get to participate in social activities like shopping and walks to help our clients stay active and connected with their community.
